Therapies using pulsed magnetic field and Viofor LED light — magnetostimulation, magnetoledotherapy— are recommended as methods supporting basic treatment in the process of healing of periapical tissues and regeneration of the bone structure. The effect of Viofor therapy in the treatment of chronic inflammation of the periapical tissues and regeneration of the bone structure

The pulsed magnetic field and Viofor LED light cause a statistically significant concentration of the bone structure both in the area of osteolysis visible in  X-rays and in the bone of the healthy periapical area.


The obtained effects of Viofor therapy are the result of the following:

Regenerative effect — under Viofor therapy, intensification of tissue regeneration processes, acceleration of bone union as well as analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects are observed. The intensification of oxygen absorption processes under the magnetic field, and thus stimulation of tissue respiration, improves cellular metabolism, which accelerates the regenerative processes of bone tissue formation and changes in its density.

Analgesic effect — the increase in the secretion of endogenous opiates (β-endorphins) belongs to the mechanisms of analgesic activity. The analgesic effect also persists after exposure to the magnetic field and LED light ceases.

Anti-inflammatory effect — the anti-inflammatory effect of Viofor therapy results, among others, from the stimulating effect of the production of cAMP and prostaglandin E and from the reduction of the secretion of inflammatory mediators.

To carry out magnetostimulation treatment, you will need a Viofor control unit that generates the therapeutic pulsed magnetic field and a magnetostimulation applicator. The therapy primarily relies on exposing the entire body. The targeted area should be positioned within the effective range of the magnetic field, which can be achieved by placing it inside the coil of a ring applicator, on the surface of a mat, or between two flat applicators. Importantly, the magnetic field easily permeates through clothing, dressings, and even casts without hindrance.
Magnetic-LED therapy - magnetoledotherapy - utilizes specific applicators to deliver localized treatments to different body regions. Panel applicators are employed for larger areas, such as the back, while specialized applicators are used for more targeted treatments, such as those in dentistry. During the treatment, both light and magnetic fields are simultaneously applied from a single applicator. LED light treatments are performed on exposed areas of the body. LED applicators are designed for close or direct contact, as long as the skin is free from infection and properly cleansed. It is important to ensure that the applicator surface remains parallel to the treated area during the procedure.
